Driving new patient volume through physician marketing can be similar than you may think. Here are 4 strategies you can implement now that will send new patients to your practice in volume.
1. Search Engine Optimization – Update the title tags, h1 tags and meta description tags on your website with top searched terms related to the services that you offer. Then make sure that your office address is posted on every page of your website.
2. Local Listings Management – List your website and office on Google Maps, Bing Maps, Yahoo Maps, Yelp and 200 other online directory sites. Start with the 4 mentioned above as they have the power to generate about 60% of the appointments you can gain from local listings.
3. Pay Per Click Marketing – Start small. Set aside a budget of $500 per month to spend in Google AdWords or Bing Ads bidding on the most relevant terms to your business. Since you are not advanced your best bet is to set everything to phrase match. Then drive each prospective patient to a landing page with no links off of it, some information about who you are and what you do and have a form and a phone number there.
4. Capture the Email Address – Capture the email address of every patient and prospective patient when they make an appointment or check in. Every email address is worth a lot of money to you when used correctly. Email addresses can be used to increase patient referrals, increase show rates for appointments, and increase your appointment to procedure ratio by 20%.
